Readers' Choice for Best Tax Preparer: H&R Block

There are few things that will get readers' excited about tax season. But a good tax preparer can do the trick, particularly when they can deliver a big refund.

There were several local tax firms and a few national names on the ballot this week in our readers' choice poll. Not surprisingly, the award goes to a top national firm that also has several local locations and a strong online presence.

H&R Block has four offices in Goose Creek, including an office at the Navy Exchange on Joint Base Charleston — Weapons Station. Another site at 1316 Red Bank Road has a Spanish speaking staff member. There's also a spot in the downtown district and a fourth location off Old Mt. Holly Road.

Three more locations are a short drive away (and likely on your commute). And, of course, you can find H&R Block online.
