Robbery Suspected in Tuesday Shooting
Witnesses say two unidentified suspects demanded money before shooting the victim in the leg.

Deputies say the shooting reported Tuesday night was likely the result of a robbery.
Law enforcement arrived at the scene just after 9:30 p.m. and found a resident of the home lying in the front yard, bleeding from a gunshot wound in his leg.
Two roommates told police that the three of them were arriving home from dinner when two men approached them from the side of the house.

The men reportedly demanded money from the victim. At some point in the altercation, the victim was shot in the leg, according to the Sheriff's Office.

The two men fled the scene on foot toward Foster Creek Road. Two witness reports a white Lincoln Town Car with a tan top driving slowly nearby, possibly to pick up the suspects.
The victim was transported to a nearby hospital.
