Run or Dye, the world's most colorful 5k, is coming to the Coastal Carolina Fair in Ladson on December 14 and bringing the colors of the season with it. The color-blasted 5k will kick off at 9 a.m. and feature holiday-themed showers of safe, eco-friendly, plant-based cornstarch dye at every kilometer for a day of festive fun. Afterwards participants will have the option to take part in the Run or Dye world-famous Dye Festival where they'll "Tie-Dye the Sky" in cheery holiday colors in an ultimate celebration of life, friendship, fitness, and fun.
Run or Dye will be partnering with Big Brothers Big Sisters, an organization that aims to impact the lives of children and youth by assisting them to achieve their highest potential, to ensure children in the community have a merry holiday season. Run or Dye will donate a portion of the race proceeds to the organization as well as ask participants to bring unwrapped toys for the local Toys for Tots to give as gifts to children and families in need.
