Saturday Motorcycle Ride to Benefit Fire Victims

Ride includes small carnival for victims.

Local motorcyclists will be raising money for the victims in the Pine Harbour Apartment that took three lives and left dozens homeless. Four people are facing charges related to meth manufacturing in an apartment in the building.

The event begins at 1 p.m., with motorcycles riding from Cycle Gear on Dorchester Road to the at Red Bank Road and Harbour Lake Drive, according to an ABC News 4 report. There's a $10 registration free, with proceeds going to victims.

Theresa Karcher of Carolina Leather told News 4 that there will also be a small carnival for fire victims.

"We have jump castles, popcorn, cotton candy machines, snow cone machines, music, jump castles, and music. They can take whatever food they need to take with them," she said.
