Services Scheduled for Train Accident Victim
Plus, co-workers react to news of motorist struck by Amtrack on Monday.

Services will be held Friday for Daniel Perry, 56, the Hanahan motorist who died in a. Police believe Perry tried to go around a slow-moving freight train and didn't see the Amtrak train speeding down the other set of tracks.
Visitation will be at 2 p.m. at Highland Park Baptist Church, where Perry was a deacon. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m., with interment at Carolina Memorial Park.
According to his obituary, Perry was a native of Georgetown. He was employed for 24 year at Lowe's, including 14 at the North Charleston store.

Co-worker Ken Ostrom told ABC News 4's Natalie Caula that the crew at Lowe's was shocked by the news of the fatal accident Monday.
"He was an anchor," Ostrom said. "He made everyone around him better. He grounded us all. He'll be missed."

Donations are being accepted in Perry's honor for the Building Fund Highland Park Baptist Church. The church is at 6211 Murray Drive, Hanahan.
