Severe Thunderstorm Watch Sunday
National Weather Service: Possibility through 6 p.m.
A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the Lowcountry through 6 p.m, according to the National Weather Service.
The current forecast calls for thunderstorms today, with an 80 percent chance of precipitation. Thunderstorms are likely tonight, with a 60 percent chance of wet weather.
New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch are expected today and tonight, except higher amounts are possible in thunderstorms.
