
An early-afternoon electrical fire on the Goose Creek High School campus was put out in short order, according to the Goose Creek Rural Fire Department and the Berkeley County School District.
Firefighters were called to the school near 1:30 p.m. regarding a small fire in a storage shed at the school, said district spokeswoman Kathie Sizemore.Â
The custodial trailer was used for storage, Sizemore said. There were no injuries and no one was evacuated.

The fire department had about 12 firefighters respond, but any flames were minimal and it was mostly just smoke, according to the fire department.Â
