Sound Off: The Car vs. Building Phenomenon
Are these wrecks a growing trend or nothing new?

I'll preface this question by saying it may just be me, but I can't get over the number of car vs. building reports I've seen in the last year covering Goose Creek and North Charleston.
Sometimes its on purpose, as was alleged in the February incident photographed at right. Other times, alcohol is blamed. But, more often than not, its mechanical error or inattention.
On Wednesday morning, a Saturn sedan drove into the front of a medical office building off University Drive. The driver was charged with careless operation, according to a WCSC, Live 5 News, report.

It's not just our area, a car crashed into a West Ashley dollar store on Wednesday afternoon and a barn at Bessinger's on Savannah Highway was hit by a truck earlier this week.
So, you tell us: Is this kind of thing happening more often? Or is it just a common form of accident? Comment in the box below.
