
The Lowcountry has "suffered" through an unusually warm winter, even for our high-temp standards.

As rain clouds depart and the fog lifts Wednesday morning, the National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies, calm winds and the kind of high temps that come with such a mid-March forecast.Â

The high could climb above 80 degrees Wednesday and reach even higher on Thursday, with temps cooling only slightly to the upper 70s through the weekend.
Nighttime temps are expected to hover comfortably above 55 degrees.Â
