Strategic Plan, Mobile Home Park Rezoning on This Week's Agendas
Lot owners planning commercial redevelopment.

The City of Goose Creek's Planning Commission will meet at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Marguerite Brown Municipal Center, 519 N. Goose Creek Boulevard.
The commission will consider a rezoning request for the Green Point Mobile Home Community and an adjacent lot on St. James Avenue. The 22-acre property was as conservation open space while the city worked out details of the owner's plans. The developers are now seeking general commercial zoning.

The Goose Creek City Council will also be holdig two strategic planning workshop this week. Held Tuesday and Thursday, both meetings will begin at 6 p.m. in the Goose Creek Police Department training room at the Marguerite Brown Municipal Center, 519 N. Goose Creek Boulevard.
The council heard from legislators, commission and board members, business leaders and residents in a planning session earlier this summer.
