Stratford Grad Competing for Miss Black USA

Miss Black South Carolina USA Jordan Addison is working hard this week in the Miss Black USA contest.

The Stratford High Grad and University of South Carolina sophomore is tweeting and blogging about the experience.

The State's Otis Taylor had a brief Q&A with Addison today. She tells the paper that her talent will be a liturgical dance piece.

"It's became a really big passion of mine. Even if I don't practice every day, I like listening to the song so you're really connected to it."

The final competition will be Monday night at the Lincoln Theatre.
