Students Tear Down 'Berlin Wall' at Marrington
Fifth graders learn about East and West Germany.
Miss Reeder's 5th grade class is studying the Cold War era. In hopes of bringing social studies alive, Miss Reeder constructed their very own "Berlin Wall" right inside the classroom. Students were divided into East and West Germany as they learned about this particular time in history. After learning about many different aspects of the Cold War, the students were able to tear down the wall to signify the ending of the political hostility between America and the Soviet Union.
