Berkeley County Schools' supply drive will wrap up Saturday with a big bash from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Walmart stores in Goose Creek and Moncks Corner.
In preparation for opening day Aug. 16, the district launched a donation drive for the items students and teachers will need for a successful school year.
District spokeswoman Kathie Sizemore said the finale events will include a clown, a dunk tank, a clown, bands, snacks and hot dogs from Jacks Cosmic Dogs for $3.

You can still donate supplies at the event. The district will also be signing up residents interested in volunteering in local schools.
