Terry Making Georgia Commitment Official

Goose Creek junior back on track at UGA.

Tramel Terry, the in-demand junior wide receiver for the Goose Creek Gators, is expected to commit this afternoon to the University of Georgia — again.

Terry committed to the school last summer, but  in September.

"I was thinking about my commitment for a while, but when I went up to Clemson it made me so unsure," he told ESPN Insider at the time. A trip to USC also seemed to spark doubts about heading out of state.

By November, Terry was fielding at least 14 offers, including Virginia Tech. "I'm completely open," he told the Post and Courier. "I'm going to take my time."

ESPN Insider wonders today whether Terry was swayed by friendships he has already built with future teammates Brice Ramsey and Derrick Henry.

Ramsey told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution in October that he would try to convince Terry to stick with the Bulldogs. "I'm going to stay after him for Georgia for sure," Ramsey said.
