Six Bullet Holes in Cars at Hallmark Apartments

Three residents at Hallmark at Timber Lake apartments awoke Monday to find bullet holes in their cars.

A man phoned police near 6:45 a.m. after finding bullet holes in the driver's side window of his Dodge Caravan, as well as bullet holes in the window to the passenger side sliding door and in the door frame. Nothing was missing from the car.

While searching the parking lot for shell casings, officers found a Dodge Stratus with the windshield shattered and a bullet hole in it, as well. The owner also told police that nothing had been stolen from the car.

A third person approached officers at the scene to report that she'd found bullet holes in her Chrysler 300 — one in the front bumper and one in the driver's side headlight.

No shell casings found at the scene.
