Three Structure Fires in Goose Creek in June
City releases information on last month's emergency response.
The Goose Creek Fire Department recently released its report on June fire and EMS calls.
There were 211 fire calls in June, compared with 175 during the same month in 2011. Based on the first half of 2012, it looks like we will have more fire calls this year than last year.Â
The city's EMS responded to 228 calls, compared with 206 in June 2011. It appears 2012 is on track to roughly match the total number of calls recieved in 2011.Â

The average fire response time in June was 4:58, down slightly from May. The average response time for EMS was 5:48.
