Tim Scott Visiting Goose Creek Thursday

It's been a busy few weeks in Washington for U.S. Rep. Tim Scott, but he'll be spending his Thursday in Goose Creek, speaking to the .

The meeting wil begin at 7 p.m. at the Berkeley Electric Co-Op off Westview Drive.

Scott has been sounding off on national talk shows about the Justice Department's failed Fast and Furious program and the Supreme Court's decision to allow a healthcare mandate. So, it's obvious he'll have something to talk about Thursday night.

The congressman will also be hearing from 9/12 members about their concerns. The group's monthly meeting has been a popular stop for politicians, including recent visitors Attorney General Alan Wilson and Treasurer Curtis Loftis.
