First, I thank my God for you all, because your faith is being proclaimed throughout the whole world. For I long to see you in order that I may impart some spiritual gift to you, that you may be established; that is, that I may be encouraged together with you while among you, each of us by the other's faith, both yours and mine.
Psalm 91:2,3

I will say to the LORD, "My refuge and my fortress, My God, in whom I trust!" For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper, And from the deadly pestilence.
Hebrews 10:23
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.
Life is tricky sometimes. You think you are going along just fine, trying your very best to let your light shine in everything that you do. Then all of a sudden, something comes out of left field and knocks you off the apple cart of contentment. It may be that someone has said something discouraging or something didn’t turn out the way you hoped it would and suddenly you don’t feel so very sunny. Satan just loves to use those disappointments to suck the air out of your happy balloon so that no one gets the benefit of why you are here in the first place. When you feel your spirit begin to sink, visualize yourself putting on a warm coat of God’s protection. Remember God? He is the one who “delivers you from the trap of your enemies, from the deadly poison of discouragement.” And when you have trouble seeing because of the steady drops of rain that Satan is sending your way, stop! Refocus. Turn your eyes from the rain to the Rain Maker. Change your words and release your faith. Tell others that you are trusting God for the answer to your tricky situation. As you speak words of hope and confidence, they will become your reality. You will feel better. That’s why God gives us each other, so that we can offer one another encouragement when our heart forgets its song. And one more thing, pray for your spirit to return to you. When something not-so-great has happened, no matter how small, the tendency is to play it over and over again in your mind. This isn’t healthy for you because you are then focusing on the rain, the bad thing. Flip your mind back to God’s healing coat which He’s made just to protect you. Speak words of hope and concentrate instead on your light-shining mission. Then you will be doing what you were created for and your peace will return.
