Today in the S.C. Primary: Jan. 9

Rick Perry skips closing arguments in New Hampshire.

Most of the GOP Primary candidates are spending Monday in New Hampshire in advance of Tuesday's contest.

But Texas Gov. Rick Perry has already headed for his last stand in South Carolina. Perry has a busy schedule this week and, for a day or two, he'll have the local campaign trail all to himself.

Perry begins an Upstate tour on Monday with a meet and greet with breakfast diners at 8:30 a.m. at Mama Penn's, 2802 North Main St., Anderson.
