The wet weather couldn't last forever. Today's forecast is absent those stray showers and thunderstorms of the last few days. There will be lots of sun this morning, but then partly cloudy later in the day. Highs will be in the lower 90s and lows in the low 70s.

For those planning for the holiday weekend — Saturday and Sunday look great, but cross your fingers if you want fireworks come Monday. There's still a slight chance of rain.
