Traffic Light Approved for Cane Bay Schools

Temporary solution going up this summer.

Cane Bay residents and parents worried about school traffic will have a new stop light this summer, according to a report by ABC News 4.

The Department of Transportation has approved a permanent traffic light at the intersection at Cane Bay Boulevard. While the engineering is put in place, a temporary light will be installed this summer, according to Mark Nesbit, a DOT traffic engineer.

"We will have the signal in place by the time school starts," Nexbit told News 4.
