Tramel Terry: S.C.'s Mr. Football

Goose Creek Gator senior Tramel Terry is heading to Georgia early, and he's taking another honor with him: Mr. Football.

The award at the North-South All-Star ceremony held Saturday in Myrtle Beach included top talent from around the state, but it has been the Goose Creek senior's year from the start.

Terry told The Rock Hill Herald newspaper that it was amazing to win the award. "Coach Reedy told me my freshman year that if I kept working I could win one day," he said.

Terry signed with Georgia on Friday and will begin classes in January. The Gators undefeated season ended early in the playoffs with a disqualification for an inelligible player.
