With more than 1,200 voters at two Westview Middle School precincts, just five voters had travelled to the polls. No one had voted yet from Liberty Hall's portion of the district.

Standing in the parking lot at Howe Hall, County Councilman Bob Call said the low turnout was expected with his race as the lone question on the ballot.

There are also a few Sangaree and Stratford residents who are voting in the GOP Primary race for S.C. State Senate District 38 between incumbent Sen. Mike Rose and Sean Bennett.
