U.S. Air Force is Hiring and More Local Jobs
Several retail management opportunities also on the Thursday jobs board.
In yesterday's jobs board, we mentioned an opening with the U.S. Air Force for an air conditioning mechanic. That's not all.
The Air Force is also looking for a pipe fitter. The position will involve installing, maintaining and repairing domestic water, sewer, natural gas and fire main systems and equipment.
Applicants need to be eligible for security clearance, but its worth it — salary range is $21 to more than $24 an hour.

There are also several local retail openings in management positions. Office Depot needs a department manager in North Charleston. Anna's Linens is hiring a store manager. Gymboree has openings for assistant managers.
