
Officials have identified the victim in a single-car wreck Friday that killed the driver, but left a passenger with only minor injuries.
Daniel Roberts, 59, of Bonneau, was ejected from the car and pronounced dead the scene, according to Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury. Roberts died from head and body trauma, said Salisbury.
The single-car accident occurred at 11:34 a.m. on Black Oak Drive, according to S.C. Highway Patrol.Â

Roberts' 1993 Isuzu Rodeo was reportedly travelling east when the vehicle drove off the left side of the road and then swerved from one end to the other to correct before overturning and striking several trees.
A passenger whose name was not released was treated at the scene and released, said Salisbury.
