Wannamaker North a Hit With Mountain Bike Crowd

Goose Creek's new mountain bike trail is getting more attention regionally — and may soon lead to similar paths across the Lowcountry.

The — a product of volunteer, including the Lowcountry Fat Tire Freaks, working 600 hours clearing the route through the woods along the county line. Access to the Charleston County park site is available off Westview Boulevard.

ABC News 4's Dean Stephens spoke with designer Brad Phillips about how the trail originated and the response Phillips has seen from the cycling community.

"After receiving great reviews as well as a high volume of usage, discussions have already begun about future trails in the area," Phillips said.
