Week Ahead: Congressman Tim Scott to talk Israel

Meetings we'll be following this week.

The continues Monday with a County Council workshop on how much the fee will collect and what it will pay for. County staff have said the fee will help address state and federal mandates on water quality monitoring and educating residents on the impact of stormwater runoff. The council will also discuss redistricting and the county agreement with the Charleston Water System. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the supervisor's conference room, 1003 Highway 52, Moncks Corner.

The Hanahan City Council will hold a speicial meeting for an initial vote on issuing and selling new bonds. The meeting will be at 6 p.m at the Municipal Court Complex, 1255 Yeamans Hall Road.

On Thursday, Goose Creek Mayor Michael Heitzler will conduct a town meeting with Liberty Hall Plantation residents to discuss the city's strategic plan. The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall, 519 N. Goose Creek Blvd. The meeting is open to the public.

Rep. Tim Scott (R-S.C.) will be speaking Thursday to the Goose Creek 9-12 group about a recent trip to Israel. The group will also be entertained by political comic Eric Gulob. The meeting will be at 7 p.m. at Berkeley Electric Cooperative Building, 2 Springhall Drive.
