Weekend Five: CSU Rocks, Dreamalot Reads, and Rango
Safari Day at Cypress Garden and Berkeley County Dems meet.

Busy weekend in the Goose Creek area. Here are five things to keep you busy:
- will have its montly from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Friday. There's no required book, you just talk about what you've been reading. Participants are encouraged to bring a potluck snack.
- Cypress Gardens is hoting a from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday. Lots of outdoor activities. Admission is $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, and $5 for kids 6-12. Children 5 and under are free.
- Berkeley County Democrats will be meeting at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Masonic Lodge on Highway 52 in Moncks Corner. The guest speaker will be House Minority Leader Harry Ott. Breakfast is available for $5.
- The City of Goose Creek is hosting its second showing the movie Rango. If you've got a ticket, have fun! If not, it's too late — the popular event is sold out.
- Charleston Southern University students return to campus this weekend and the school is hosting at 8:30 p.m. Sunday night to welcome them back. Kristian Stanfill will be performing as part of CSU's Grace Awakening.
