6 p.m. at Crowfield Golf and Country Club, 300 Hamlet Circle

Charleston’s Bad Moon Band takes a turn this week for The City of Goose Creek’s Sounds of Summer concert series. The band plays rock and Southern rock favorites like “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Keep Your Hands To Yourself.” The event includes food and other vendors. Bring a blanket or a chair. Don't bring your dog or your booze. The clubhouse bar will be open. Free.

8 p.m. at the Moncks Corner Train Depot

Goose Creek’s neighbor to the north is hosting a street dance with music by The Custom 4+2 Band. The party goes to 11:30.

8 p.m. at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center, 5001 Coliseum Drive, North Charleston.

It’s been several years since David Gray’s pop hits “Babylon” and “Please, Forgive Me,” but he’s built a grassroots following with more recent offerings on albums like Draw the Line and 2010’s Foundling. $39.50 and $49.50.

Saturday

Noon at Old Santee Canal Park in Moncks Corner.

The Berkeley County Family YMCA is presenting this annual event. There will be food, crafts, jump castles, water slides, and music. And a fireworks show at dusk from the Cooper River. Free.

Sunday

5 p.m. at Hutchinson Square in Summerville.

Summerville Dream will be hosting this annual Fourth of July celebration, which includes a patriotic costume contest (with prizes for the Best Uncle Sam and Best Lady Liberty), as well as a parade at 7 p.m. Free.
