Wet Weather Tonight, Possibly Severe

The National Weather services is predicting that rain is almost a certainty tonight, possibly along with some isolated severe weather.

The forecast calls for showers and possibly a thunderstorm late this afternoon. Tonight, the chance of rain reaches 100 percent.

The NWS notes that there is a chance for damaging winds and tornadoes associated with tonight's storm system, but that the severe weather isn't expected to be widespread.

The wet weather is expected to die down after 5 a.m., but there will still be a slight chance of precipitation into Wednesday.
