St. Patrick's Day: Everything You Need to Know
What you need know, where you need to go, what you need to do today.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
1. Get outside. The City of Charleston hosts its annual parade at 10 a.m. The Olde Village street party in North Charleston begins with a parade at noon. And there are several events in Goose Creek tonight:
- Live music and St. Pat's festivities at TJ's Beef & Brew beginning at 5 p.m.
- Immaculate Conception Church hosts a ceili dance beginning at 6:30 p.m.
- Sapphire's begins it's party at 9 p.m. with live music from Chris Sullivan.
2. Go to Madra Rua. The Park Circle hot spot will be ground zero for North Charleston's street party and it was the top pick in our Readers' Choice poll for Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day. Live music, jump castles, face painting, bagpipes, a mechanical bull, food, Irish trivia and more.Â

4. Drive safe. Goose Creek Police was already out on the streets last night with checkpoints to make sure drivers are being safe. If you're having too much fun today, take a designated driver with you.
