
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for the Lowcountry Tuesday, including Charleston, Summerville, and lower Berkeley County from Moncks Corner to Goose Creek and Daniel Island.
Strong winds could gust as high as 45 mph, according to the NWS, making driving difficult at times, particularly on high bridges and in open areas.
The advisory is in effect until 5 p.m., with the strongest winds expected between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m.

The NWS also warns of the possibility for an isolated tornado or two accompanying severe weather early this afternoon.
