Zac Brown Bringing Festival to Daniel Island

Popular singer/songwriter Zac Brown is the latest musical act to bring his show to Berkeley County's Daniel Island, but he isn't not alone. 

The Zac Brown Band will be headlining each night of the three-day Southern Ground Music & Food Festival held October 21-23 at Blackbaud Stadium. My Morning Jacket, Train and Eric Church will also be performing during the festival.

Other acts include Fitz and the Tantrums, The Del McCoury Band & Preservation Hall Jazz Band, as well as local favorites like Dangermuffin and the Blue Dogs.

But, just off stage, there will be more stars. As part of the festival, the band has roped in some big names in the Southern culinary world, including locals like Sean Brock of Husk and Mike Lata of FIG. The festival is also expected to include other Charleston culinary fare.
