Celebrate Fourth of July weekend at Sonesta Resort Hilton Head Island with family-friendly activities, festive dining and patriotic fun. Open to the public, the weekend includes arts and crafts from 12:30–2:30 p.m. featuring tie-dye T-shirts, Build-A-Bear stuffed animals, shark tooth necklaces, ceramic magnets, wooden snakes and keychains, totes and backpacks, followed by complimentary face painting and balloon art from 2:30–4:30 p.m. Families can also enjoy lawn games including cornhole, giant Jenga, Connect 4, ping pong, badminton and putting/chipping activities.
Special holiday dining includes a Lowcountry BBQ Buffet from 5–9 p.m. at Seacrest Restaurant. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 843-842-2400.
Located in Shipyard Plantation, the resort also offers convenient access to some of Hilton Head Island's most popular Fourth of July fireworks displays, including celebrations at Shelter Cove Harbour & Marina and Harbour Town Marina, making it an ideal home base for a full holiday weekend.
