Don't forget about using an unoccupied store in the Kmart shopping plaza as a hip disco/bar where locals can meet other locals; similar to the Plan B bar/disco in West Ashley. The place has great location; convenient to highways, ample parking, gas stations, other facilities (hospital/Nason, fast food, food stores, pharmacies, etc.). Also it would be a boost for the FoMo motel which could be revived for sleepovers to avoid DUI. The entire area would benefit; a revival for the old medical practice buildings on Bowman, etc.
A great idea which needs an entrepreneur to make it happen!
