Beat Those Sweet Tooth Cravings

As you begin to transition into a lifestyle of healthy eating, you may also find your sweet tooth is feeling a little left out and aching to be fed.

As you begin to transition into a lifestyle of healthy eating, you’ll find you’re making smarter choices and feeding your body more often (every two to three hours). You may also find your sweet tooth is feeling a little left out and aching to be fed.

Our sweet tooth really acts up during those crazy weeks when you feel like eating all the chocolate and sweets in sight. I know the feeling and am dealing with that this week. I’m just about to break down and go get some chocolate cake batter ice cream from Marble Slab and add some serious Oreo cookie toppings and maybe chocolate chips and some hot fudge with a cherry and some whip cream … mmmm … Well, enough of that!

Here’s a quick trick to keep those cravings at bay, your waistline in check and still fit into your clothes at the end of the week: Buy your favorite fresh fruit and add REAL whip cream to it! Yep I’m talking about Reddi-wip in a can. It’s only 15 calories for 2 tablespoons. Oh, and did I mention less than 1 gram of sugar and carbs and only 1 gram of fat.

Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not like real whip cream is GOOD for you, however, it’s better than eating a big fat candy bar, doughnut or the likes of the ice cream sundae of bliss mentioned above.

But it really does work to take away your sweet tooth cravings and keep you on track.
