Food is a powerful drug. It can be addictive and it can become a bad habit that is hard to break. Changing your mental perspective about food (think FOOD IS FUEL) will keep you from becoming a food junkie and help you not only feel better, look better and perform better day to day; it will keep you focused on your overall goal – optimum fitness and lifelong health.
I too felt a food hangover and sometimes still have a hard time kicking the cravings. I can honestly say that I have focused my mental perspective to think of the food that I eat as FUEL. Fueling my body with healthy foods makes me feel like I accomplished something and keeps me focused. I don’t want to put bad fuel in
my body or I will perform poorly day to day and feel sluggish and unmotivated.
Hopefully this will help you get motivated, give you some good ideas so you can kick your bad food habits and start with a new mental perspective. START TODAY; don’t wait until tomorrow or the next day or next Monday.
