Happy Mother's Day from my husband!

Happy Mother's Day from Jennifer's husband. Check out what is happening this weekend in Charleston for your family on this Mother's Day Weekend.

Happy Mother's Day Moms!

I thought it would be a good idea to salute all those hard working Mom's out there. There is no job more important, or frankly more difficult, than being a Mom.
My wife is one of the hardest working, most dedicated people I
know, and it is amazing that it is duplicated in households across
the Lowcountry. So to honor Mothers everywhere I thought I would give
you the top five ways to make that mother in your family happy on her
special day.

1. Take the kids to a large field where
they will pick wildflowers. Sure the weeds will be dead by Monday,
but Mom will enjoy you getting the kids out of her hair for 45
minutes.

2. Make her breakfast in bed! In my
house, that usually requires us telling Mom to go BACK to bed because
she got up earlier than all of us.

3. Pay someone else to treat her nice.
You know, like a gift card for a massage or a manicure.

4. Take her to see a movie of her
choice. Don't forget the tissues.

5. Get her jewelry. Yeah, forget
all those others and just get her jewelry.

Oh and don't forget to call YOUR mom.
She did go through the trouble of raising you and everything.

And a special note to all you single
Moms out there. You really have a tough job, so take some time this
weekend and reward yourself for your hard work.  There is nothing better than finding loads of things to do in our area:  Greek Fesitval, Goose Creek Bluegrass Festival, Moms Run, Waterparks are open, and more.  Check out the calendar at www.macaronikid.com

Thanks Moms!
