Run or Not to Run, That is the Question

I am not saying that you should or shouldn't run, I am saying that I DO NOT run.  Ugh.  I did stroll the bridge when it first opened for cars, but I truly would never run it. 

I admire those who will be joining up with the thousands of people this weekend to compete in the annual Cooper River Bridge Run.  I did, last year, get my coffee, and drive to the GDC parking lot to watch the festivities and was so glad that I did.  Wow, what a great site to see, all of the runners, strollers, walkers, and then, ME, sipping my coffee on the side.  When the race started, I got in my car, coffee in hand, and drove home.  Ha!  Yes, that is what I will probably be doing again this year, and I am ok with it! 

If you are running or walking, Great!  Enjoy!  But, if you aren't, you can head up to the Flowertown Festival in Summerville.  Here are some other events for the weekend to enjoy:
