In 2010 Travel + Leisure Magazine named Charleston the U.S. city with the most attractive locals. It was another great honor for the Holy City, but it may have made us a little too full of ourselves. The distinction must have gone to our collective head, because last year we toppled down to # 6.
A year has passed and I’m happy to report that we’re on our way back! We’ve cleaned ourselves up nicely and checked in at the # 4 spot in the 2012 poll. We’re still not as beautiful as we used to be, but we’re back in the Top 5!
We better keep it going for 2013, so get your act together Chucktown! Lay off the fried foods and hit the gym more or something.
