Choral Arts Experience, a dynamic new choir in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, is bringing the joy of fine choral music to the Charleston community. This concert celebrates the influence of Celtic music on some of America’s favorite folk songs. From the Gaelic music of the ancient Celtic people to traditional Irish and Scottish folk tunes, "A CAROLINA CEILIDH" traces the roots of this heritage to many of our favorite American folk songs, hymns and patriotic music. A Ceilidh is a Gaelic word that loosely means 'a gathering' that involves singing and dancing. In this concert, Ms. Graham is excited to celebrate America's musical heritage as it comes from her Celtic roots. Favorite Celtic and American songs will bring a tear to your eye, and certainly have you tapping your toes and singing along. Don’t miss this exciting evening presented by the area’s newest musical talent, Choral Arts Experience, joined by talented local musicians Micah Gangwer, Terry Muir, Walter Biffle, and Mezzo Soprano, Laquavia Alston.
