The Charleston Sea Kayaking Meetup Group is sponsored by Sea Kayak Carolina, a full service kayak shop and school located at 1731 Signal Point Road on James Island.  In addition to retail sales, the shop offers tours, instruction and trips.

Sea Kayak Carolina has helped make Charleston a destination for paddlers from all over the world, as the Charleston area has quiet tidal rivers, the harbor, and spectacular ocean paddling for more experienced paddlers.
