Around the World in Five Wines

Pack your taste buds, grab your travel companion because the Old Village Post House is going around the world as we feature wines from Broadbent Selections Inc. on Thursday, October 18th at 6:30 pm.

Wine and Beverage Director Patrick Emerson has selected the finest wines from Broadbent Selection’s portfolio including wines from Spain, South Africa, Lebanon, and Portugal. These wines are paired perfectly with Executive Chef Frank Lee’s menu including fried local shrimp, seared New Bedford sea scallops, Palmetto pigeon breast and upside down apple cornbread cake. Broadbent Selections Inc. is a boutique wine importer that represents wines that gratify not just the palate, but the soul. It was founded in 1996 with the mission to focus and showcase family-owned wineries producing wines that come from the heart. Quality and character: those are absolutes for Broadbent Selections and the great people behind the wines. Greg Perkins, National Southeast Manager for Broadbent Selections Inc., will be with us to provide in-depth tasting notes and background on the wines featured.
