
Hosted by Charleston Restaurant Association, this lowcountry festival is the highlight of Charleston’s “January-doldrums” for the past 25 years. For 20 consecutive years, the Lowcountry Oyster Festival has been named one of the “top 20 events in the southeast” by the Southeastern Tourism Society.
80,000 pounds of oysters will be served along with alternate food selections from Gilligan's Steamer and Raw Bar, A.W. Shuck's Seafood Restaurant, North Towne Greek Restaurant, Red's Ice House, Wild Wing Cafe, Grindz Burgers & Brew, Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q, and Hyman's Seafood Company.
Activities include live music on the main stage, wine, a selection of domestic and imported beers, and children’s area with pony rides and jump castles.

Proceeds go to local charities including the Ronald McDonald House, Hospitality Heroes, Hollings Cancer Center and the Charleston County Schools Science Materials Resource Center.
