Featured Speaker Gerard Long, Executive Director, Alpha USA

For over 30 years, Gerard served as senior vice president with HSBC, one of the largest banks in the world.   Working in both London and New York, he successfully integrated work and faith for many years, especially in using the Alpha course as a tool for reaching colleagues and friends.  In 2006, he left the banking field to oversee the efforts of Alpha USA.  Gerard is a highly sought- after speaker whom The Washington Post calls one of the "stars of the church-saving circuit.”

“The Bible mentions work more than 800 times, more than all the words used to express worship, music and praise combined,” comments Gerard.   “You’re not supposed to turn off a switch when you leave church on Sunday. Walking with God is a seven-day event.”
