Trident Academy is offering FREE Early Reading Screenings to kindergartners and first graders. During the assessment, a Trident Academy teacher trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach will work with your student one-on-one, assessing their ability to rhyme, count syllables, and blend and manipulate sounds. Based on the student's answers, the educator will be able to estimate the degree of difficulty (s)he may have in learning to read.
