Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum, in association with the USS Yorktown CV-10 Association and Awendaw Green, will host Awendaw Green’s Homegrown Music Festival for the Benefit of Patriots Point’s Institute of History & Science. The Singer-Songwriter Festival will be attended by many of those living the dream of singer-song writer, performing original music under the trees, with Charleston Harbor as the backdrop. The festival encourages the growth of the art of independent performing singer-songwriters. Genres include Acoustic, Americana, Bluegrass, Blues, Celtic, Country and Folk. Over 30 musicians will perform. Food and drink will be available from local businesses.
