Shrieks of excitement coming from pulsing neon lights on things that go round and round and upside down into the night are usually some of the sights and sounds of fall as county fairs and festivals are in full swing.
But they are also on the way this spring...to the Lowcountry Strawberry Festival at Boone Hall Plantation...and for the first time ever at this event...in PRIME TIME.
The festival has always been a spring favorite for families who enjoy the combination of these delightful berries and wholesome fun on the farm. That has always been the main focus of this event and will always be.

But as this event continues to grow, Boone Hall has continued to expand and improve what is presented at the festival in an effort to engage more people in this annual celebration of one of the signature crops grown on the plantation.
As a result, the festival for 2013 has been expanded to be presented over four days including being open at night for the first time in addition to the normal daytime schedule.
