MUSC is pleased to be hosting a community stroke awareness event on May 4, 2013. Physicians from the MUSC Comprehensive Stroke & Cerebrovascular Center will be providing information to stroke survivors, family members and caregivers on topics such as:
- Recovering from Stroke
- Dealing with the emotional and social aspects of stroke
- Lifestyle changes and medication for stroke prevention
