A Bachmann-Huntsman Ticket?

Former Utah Governor John Huntsman told CNN's Piers Morgan that he'd "be the first person to sign up" if U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann asked him to be her running mate, according to a Huffington Post story.

Huntsman, widely believed to be the most moderate Republican in the race, quickly backtracked, saying he thinks he can still win the nomination.

Bachmann, who has visited the Lowcountry twice since June and will be back this week, won the Iowa Straw Poll, two weeks ago.
